Joe is part owner of the A&J Petersburg Agency and is licensed in both insurance and real estate. He started his insurance career at A&J Petersburg Agency in 2010 after moving back to his hometown from Minneapolis with his wife Jamie.  Joe is currently the president of the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce and former president of the St. Benedict School Board.  Joe and Jamie have two daughters, Maggie and Elsey.  Jamie is the owner of a home decor store, Rendered Unique in Decorah.
